Minimum Requirements:
- know and control of the Bachata Sensual fundamentals: Basic side to side, Basic front back, Basic square (cuadrado), Basic diagonal, Bolero, Completo, Paséala, Break Forward, Slide, Media, Mantón, Salida, Impulso, Pinza, Wave, Culito, Body Roll, Lateral Body Roll, Media, Dip, and Head Roll.
Advanced
(Video application required)
Minimum Requirements:
- Mastery of control of the Bachata Sensual fundamentals: Basic side to side, Basic front back, Basic square (cuadrado), Basic diagonal, Bolero, Completo, Paséala, Break Forward, Slide, Media, Mantón, Salida, Impulso, Pinza, Wave, Culito, Body Roll, Lateral Body Roll, Media, Dip, and Head Roll.
- In addition you should be able to dance them smoothly, i.e., combine movements without a basic step in between. You should also control energy changes in the song (musicality).
- Ability to adjust speed and movements with musicality
- Execute complex combinations beyond just keeping to the beat
Advanced Pro

Minimum Requirements:
- Mastery of all Intermediate, Intermediate Pro, and Advanced techniques
- Strong presence and body control
- Incorporate styling seamlessly without interrupting connection
- Dance beyond basic beats—highlight accents, musical effects, and song details
- Make conscious decisions about which musical elements to emphasize

JACK & JILL COMPETITION
We are delighted to be hosting the official Jack & Jill Competition at the Bachata Sensual Congress Germany 2026, which is part of both the official European Qualifier and Bachata Social German Cup, and takes place in preparation for the Bachata Social World Cup at Bachata Geneva 2027 🎉
Participation Requirements:
- Full Pass, Social Night Pass or Saturday Night Social Pass (€35, available online or at the festival entrance)
- Registration fee for the J&J
📢 Important: While the festival provides the venue for the Jack & Jill competition, the event is independently organized by the Bachata Council. Have questions? Contact the Bachata Council directly.
