Intermediate

(No application required)

Minimum Requirements:

Approx. 6 to 12 months of experience
Must control Bachata Sensual fundamentals:

Basic side-to-side / front-back
Pinza, Wave, Basic Cuadrado / Diagonal
Bolero, Completo, Paséala, Break Forward
Slide, Media, Mantón, Impulso
Culito, Body Roll, Lateral Body Roll
Media, Dip, Head Roll

You don’t need to master all moves perfectly, but you should be familiar with them.

Intermediate

Pro

(Video application required)

Minimum Requirements:

Control all Intermediate techniques fluently
Combine movements without basic steps between
Control energy changes and demonstrate musicality

Advanced

(Video application required)

Minimum Requirements:

Mastery of all Intermediate and Intermediate Pro techniques
Ability to adjust speed and movements with musicality
Execute complex combinations beyond just keeping to the beat

Advanced Pro

(Video application required)

Minimum Requirements:

Mastery of all Intermediate, Intermediate Pro, and Advanced techniques
Strong presence and body control
Incorporate styling seamlessly without interrupting connection
Dance beyond basic beats—highlight accents, musical effects, and song details
Make conscious decisions about which musical elements to emphasize

We are excited to host the official Jack & Jill Competition, presented by the Bachata Council, at the Bachata Sensual Congress Germany 2025! 🎉

Participation Requirements:

Full Pass, or
Saturday Social Pass (€30, available only at the festival entrance)

Your Responsibilities

• Volunteers will work 8-10 hours over the weekend.
• Shifts will be scheduled so you can attend all workshops according to your ticket level.
• Advanced Pro volunteers will not be assigned shifts during Advanced Pro workshops, and so on.
